National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is a premier law school located in Bangalore, India. Established in 1986, it is the first National Law University in India.

    • Tuition Fee: INR 2,50,000 per annum
    • Other Fees: INR 30,000 per annum
    • Total: INR 2,80,000 per annum
  • PhD in Law - 3 years
    • Tuition Fee: INR 50,000 per annum
    • Other Fees: INR 20,000 per annum
    • Total: INR 70,000 per annum
Hostel Fees
  • Double Room: INR 60,000 per annum
  • Single Room: INR 80,000 per annum
Other Expenses
  • Books and Study Materials: INR 10,000 per annum
  • Transportation: INR 5,000 per annum

Eligibility criteria for National Law School of India University (NLSIU):
 
BA LLB (Hons) - 5 years
  • Age Limit: No upper age limit
  • Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with a minimum of:
    • 45% marks for General Category
    • 40% marks for SC/ST Category
  • CLAT: Candidates must appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure a valid score
LLM - 1 year
  • Qualification: LLB degree or equivalent from a recognized University with a minimum of:
    • 50% marks for General Category
    • 45% marks for SC/ST Category
  • CLAT: Candidates must appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure a valid score
PhD in Law - 3 years
  • Qualification: LLB (3 years) or LLM with a minimum of:
    • 55% marks for General Category
    • 50% marks for SC/ST Category
  • NLSIU Entrance Test: Candidates must appear for the NLSIU Entrance Test and secure a valid score
PhD in Interdisciplinary - 3 years
  • Qualification: Master's degree in any discipline with a minimum of:
    • 55% marks for General Category
    • 50% marks for SC/ST Category
  • NLSIU Entrance Test: Candidates must appear for the NLSIU Entrance Test and secure a valid score
